| Studies made on caffeine and pregnancy shows criticisms. The effect of caffeine gets worse as the pregnancy progresses. The reason is that ability of the body to break down caffeine slows down and thus caffeine starts accumulating into the blood stream. This negatively affects the growth of the baby and birth defects in such babies are more common. | |
