A new scientific study has shown that honey has special characteristics that help to defend against germs. Honey also has high capability to resistbacteria that evolved their immune systems against standard medications.
Honey, in the old and modern era, has always been used as a natural medicine for many diseases. This new study might be a new twist to use honey for medical purposes.

According to the study that has been done through Sidney University in Australia, Dekarter, a scientific teacher in the biological and microbial science college says, "our research has shown that honey can replace many of the antibiotics that are used to treat cuts such as ointments and different creams. Also, using honey for healing purposes will increase the aging period of antibiotics. "She also adds:" most of the bacteria that cause infections in hospitals are at least resistance to one type of antibiotic, which means the need to produce new and stronger antibiotics that are able to execute bacteria that cause diseases. "

Honey is a complicated compound that is consists of 800 molecules. This complication makes it difficult for scientists to fully understand the honey's mechanism of resisting and killing the bacteria. scientist Dekarter says: "until now, we have not found the method the honey apply to resist bacteria, but most likely there is the molecule" Methylglyoxal ", which is part of the honey, that reacts with other molecules which we have not discovered yet , to become able to inhibit bacteria from multiplying and making new generations that have the ability to resist to antibiotics. "

Doctor Rose Koper, from the Health Science college of Wells University, has conducted a research regarding honey's activity against bacteria, and she wrote the book "Honey facing cuts". In her book, she says: "there are many factors that give honey the special healing characteristics, including high sugar level, low water level, and low acidity."

A scientific study assures that Allah (SWT) supplied honey with natural antibiotics that kills dangerous microbes, let us read ...

Honey is a healing for people
My beloved for the sake of Allah! These new studies that are discovered by scientists and amaze them are not as surprising for us, because Allah Almighty has mentioned honey in his book, and revealed a chapter and call it "An-Nahl" which mean Bees. Allah almighty says: "And your Lord inspired the bee, saying:" Take you habitations in the mountains and in the trees and in what they erect * Then, eat of all fruits, and follow the ways of your Lord made easy (for you "). There comes forth from their bellies, a drink of varying color wherein is healing for men. Verily, in this is indeed a sign for people who think "[An-Nahl 68-69].
In conclusion, we advise every sister and brother to always have honey available in their homes. Honey is useful for treating burns, cuts, pyorrhea and it, is good for skin, cold and virus infections. So, we must have honey and use it both for food and medicine; especially for children!

Narrated By Abu Said Al-Khudri: A man came to the Prophet and said, "My brother has some abdominal trouble. "The Prophet said to him "Let him drink honey." The man came for the second time and the Prophet said to him, 'Let him drink honey.
"He came for the third time and the Prophet said, "Let him drink honey." He returned again and said, "I have done that 'The Prophet then said, "Allah has said the truth, but your brother's abdomen has told a lie. Let him drink honey. "So he made him drink honey and he was cured. Sahih al-Bukhary, The Book of Medicine, Hadith Number: 5746, Narrated by: Sa'd Ibn-Malik

qibla change in islam

There are more than 1.5 billion Muslims in the world, and each time they pray, they turn their faces in one direction, towards Mecca. The Islamic term for this direction is qibla. When a Muslim prepares to pray, no matter where he is, he turns towards the qibla, the direction of the Kaba. The Kaba is a small cube shaped building in the courtyard of the mosque known as Masjid Al Haram, in the city of Mecca, in the country of Saudi Arabia.

“For every nation there is a direction to which they face (in their prayers). So hasten towards all that is good. Wheresoever you may be, God will bring you together (on the Day of Resurrection). Truly, God is Able to do all things. And from wheresoever you start forth (for prayers), turn your face in the direction of Al-Masjid-al-Haram (at Mecca), that is indeed the truth from your Lord. And God is not unaware of what you do.” (Quran 2:148-149)

Muslims do not worship the Kaba, or its contents, it is simply a focal point. Muslims worship One God, the Most Merciful, and the Most Wise. God decreed that when Muslims pray they all face one direction. It is a sign of unity that encapsulates the unity embedded in the religion of Islam.

The Arabic word for prayer is salah and it demotes a connection between the believer and God; when all believers face the same direction it adds an extra dimension to the connection. The prayer connects the believers to God and the qibla connects the believers to one another. It has been said that if one could observe all the Muslims at prayer we would be able to see lines of worshippers bowing and prostrating like the petals of a flower opening and closing in unison.

The qibla was not always oriented towards Mecca. The first Muslims prayed towards the al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. Around sixteen months after Prophet Muhammad and his followers migrated from Mecca to the city of Medina, the qibla was changed to the Kaba. According to accounts by Prophet Muhammad's companions, the change happened very suddenly. During the noon prayer, Prophet Muhammad, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him, received a revelation from God instructing him to, "Turn your face towards the Masjid al Haram".

“Thus, we have made you real believers in Islamic Monotheism, true followers of Prophet Muhammad and his legal ways, a just nation, witnesses over mankind and the Messenger a witness over you. And We made the Qibla (prayer direction towards Jerusalem) which you used to face, only to test those who followed the Messenger from those who would turn on their heels (i.e. disobey the Messenger). Indeed, it was great (heavy) except for those whom God guided. And God would never make your prayers to be lost (i.e. your prayers offered towards Jerusalem). Truly, God is full of kindness, the Most Merciful towards humankind.”

“Verily! We have seen the turning of your (Muhammad) face towards the heaven. Surely, We shall turn you to a Qibla (prayer direction) that shall please you, so turn your face in the direction of Al-Masjid- al-Haram (at Mecca). And wheresoever you people are, turn your faces (in prayer) in that direction...” (Quran 2:143-144)

Changing the direction of prayer establishes Mecca as the fixed central point for worship. It establishes a common sense or purpose.

Throughout the centuries, mathematicians and astronomers have established correct ways to determine the qibla (direction) from any point on the earth’s surface. There are two precise moments each year when the sun is directly above the Kaba, thus the direction of shadows in any sunlit place will point away from the qibla. There are also two moments per year when the sun is directly over the exact opposite position of the Kaba, thus pointing towards the qibla.

It is important the Muslims make every effort to face the right direction when praying; however, slight deviations do not invalidate a person’s prayer. Prophet Muhammad said, “What is between the east and the west is qibla”.[1] Nowadays it is easy to locate the qibla. It is a simple matter to look at a map and draw a line between your location and the city of Mecca. Compasses and computer programs that locate the qibla are readily available and most mosques throughout the world have a niche in the wall to indicate the qibla.

Islam is a religion of unity. Muslims are united by their belief in One God. They are one brotherhood united in the language and ritual of prayer and united by the direction of their worship. The qibla is not only about degrees of latitude or longitude it is about unity. It is about humankind united in the worship of the One God, Creator, and Sustainer of the universe.

QURAN in Surat an-Nahl vr.68-69 says
"And your Lord revealed to the bee saying: Make hives in the mountains and in the trees and in what they build: Then eat of all the fruits and walk in the ways of your Lord submissively. There comes forth from within it a beverage of many colours, in which there is healing for mankind; most surely there is a sign in this for a people who reflect."

Resolve your daily problems by using Honey and know how HONEY can cure it and how useful it is. Listed
below are some common problems which can be cured by honey :

For Fatigue

Dissolve a desert spoon of honey in warm water or quarter honey balance of water in a jug and keep in the fridge. Honey is primarily fructose and glucose and so it is quickly absorbed by the digestive system. (Honey is a unique natural stabilizer - ancient Greek athletes took honey for stamina before competing and as a reviver after competition.)

Facial Deep Cleanser

Mix honey with oatmeal approx. 50/50 till thick and apply as a face-pack. Leave on for half an hour then wash off. Great as a deep cleanser for acne .

Poor Digestion

Mix honey with apple cider vinegar approx. 50/50 and dilute to taste with water. This aids digestion. (Also reputed to be wonderful for the joints.)

Hair Conditioner

Mix honey with equal quantity of Olive Oil and cover head with a warm towel for half an hour then shampoo off. Feeds hair and scalp. Hair will never look or feel better!

Sore Throats

Let a teaspoon of honey melt in the back of the mouth and trickle down the throat. Eases inflamed raw tissues.

For Stress

Honey in water is a stabilizer - calms highs and raises lows. Use approx. 25 percent honey to water.

Anaemia

Honey is the best blood en-richer by raising corpuscle content. The darker the honey the more minerals it contains.

Food Preservative

Cakes with honey replacing sugar stay fresher longer due to natural antibiotics. Reduce liquids by approx. one-fifth to allow for moisture in honey.

Heart Patients

These people are well advised to replace white sugar (sucrose) with honey, natural fructose and glucose.

Hay-fever

Chewing the tops of comb honey stimulates the immune system due to minute amounts of pollen. During the season chew for 20 minutes a teaspoon of bee capping (tops) five to six times per day. Highly effective and useful for asthma sufferers as well.

- Dear beloved, fasting is not just a worship …it is a treatment and healing for many diseases …it is a renewal method for our body cells and the activityof the entire body…as a result it is to renew our entire life and when we realize benefits offasting we really touch its sweetness, Allah Almighty says: (O you who believe! Observing As-Saum (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqun) {Sûrat Al-Baqarah-The Cow-verse 183 }.

- The scientists confirm that the best cure for the accumulation of poisons in the body is the fasting because it helps in cleaning the cells from these poisons ,prophet Mohamed peace be upon him says :” fasting is a protection” {narrated by Muslim}. Indeed it is a protection from many diseases by increasing the activity of our cells.

- Physicians assure that fasting activates our immune system …as the resistance of the body increases against all diseases. The immune system is a group of soldiers who guards the body from many viruses and harmful bacteria. Hence fasting is an effective weapon to help the body to defend itself.

- A medical fact: fasting is a main reason behind the long life!!!! Many non-Muslims had authored many books about the different benefits of fasting and they concluded that frequent fasting people lives longer than those who don’t fast!! Glory to Allah Almighty who prescribed the fasting for us as He Almighty says: (O you who believe! Observing As-Saum (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqun){Sûrat Al-Baqarah-The Cow-verse 183 }.

- Many scientific studies confirm that the best food for fasting people is “dates” with water because it contains all needed vitamins, sugars and minerals, hence the prophet says in the prophetic hadith ”when you break your fasting eat dates and if you don’t have dates drink water”{narrated by Abu- Dawood}.

Fasting is an effective method to protect us from the psychological disorders and there are many studies to confirm that the fasting helps in treating depression and to calm down hyperactive positions in the brain where usual and chemical drugs fails to treat these chronic psychological disorders. Don’t we get benefits of this great worship?

- A medical fact says: ”fasting renews the blood cells” from the first moment of fasting cells start to renew itself especially the blood cells and the lazy cells starts to work effectively. The scientists say that fasting is a continuous maintenance and cleaning operation for the entire body as the body needs that kind of maintenance once a year! This is the holy month of Ramadan. Glory to Allah Almighty who orders us to perform this great worship.

- The scientists say that fasting cures more than one hundred disease! Such as high blood pressure, diabetic, chronic asthma, respiratory diseases, heart diseases, Arteriosclerosis?, many liver diseases and skin diseases such as allergy and the chronic eczema.

Every Muslim who is adult and in possession of his faculties must fast Ramadan. They are exempted, however, in the following cases:

1. Women in menstruation, or in child-birth bleeding.
2. Persons on sick bed, or on a journey.

The Qur'an requires Muslims to fast during the month of Ramadan from sunrise to sunset.

However, there are exceptions to this. One of them is that people who are ill or have medical conditions do not have to fast. This includes people with diabetes.

said
\As more than a billion Muslims begin the observation this week of the holy month of Ramadan, Wael Mousfar will be among them. Mousfar, 62, is a Type 2 diabetic, so marking the holy month with the customary fasting during daylight can play havoc with his blood sugar and insulin levels. But Mousfar said he’s not worried.
“I will be fasting for sure,” he told ABC News. “I’ve been doing it all my all life. I would not stop during Ramadan, the fast.”
Mousfar, of New York City, has been a diabetic for over 20 years, but said his diabetes hasn’t stopped him from observing Ramadan.“I really look at fasting as spiritual,” Mousfar said. “It’s body and soul work together.

- O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that ye may (learn) self-restraint. [Quran 2:183]

- Jewish: Yom Kippur ("Day of Atonement") is the last of the Ten Days of Repentance observed on the 10th of Tishri.
- On that day, it is forbidden to eat, drink, wash, wear leather, or have sexual relations. In addition, prohibitions on labor similar to those on the Sabbath are in force.[3]
- It should also be noted that Moses (peace be upon him) is recorded in the Torah to have fasted:
- "And he was there with the Lord 40 days and 40 nights, he neither ate bread not drank water." (Exodus 34:2
-
- Christian For Catholics Christians, Lent is the major season of fasting, imitative of the forty-day fast of Jesus (peace be upon him).
- In the fourth century it was observed as six weeks of fasting before Easter or before Holy Week. It was adjusted to forty days of actual fasting in most places in the seventh century.[4]
-
- Jesus (peace be upon him) is recorded in the Gospels to have fasted like Moses. "And he fasted 40 days and 40 nights, and afterward he was hungry." (Matthew 4:2 & Luke 4:2)
-
- It is in this context God states in the Quran:
-
- "O believers! Fasting has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you in order that you become more conscious of God."
- [Noble Quran 2:183]
-
- Righteous Deeds Among the Best Righteous Deeds
-
- Although in most religions, fasting is for expiation of sin or atonement for sin, in Islam it is primarily to bring one closer to God, as stated in the above-mentioned verse.
-
- Since, God-consciousness is the prerequisite for righteousness, great stress is placed on fasting in Islam.
-
- Therefore, it is not surprising to find that when Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was asked "Which is the best deed?" He replied, "Fasting, for there is nothing equal to it."
-
- - Fasting makes us deeply conscious of the pangs of hunger and discomfort suffered by the less fortunate among our brethren, who may have to put up with such stringent conditions all through their lives it thus enkindles in man a spirit of SACRIFICE leading to CHARITY towards his suffering brethren.
-
- Ramadan is a month of fasting and prayers for the Muslims. The fast consists of total abstinence from food and drink from dawn to dusk. There is, however, a greater significance to fasts than mere abstinence from eating and drinking. The real objective of fasts is to inculcate in man the spirit of abstinence from sins and of cultivation of virtue. Thus the Qur'an declares that the fasts have been prescribed with a view to developing piety in man
,

- One of the marvelous facts is that eating dates organize functions of the liver and helps to getting rid of poisons. When a person breaks the fasting by eating dates it considered to be the best natural medicine to maintain the liver from the accumulated poisons. Also the researchers confirm that eating dates continually prevents from liver diseases. Now we understand why the prophet peace be upon him used to break his fasting by dates and also he used to eat dates every morning!!!

- Many scientific studies showed that fasting is a free way to renew and activate cells of the body as the fasting doubles the life of these cells! Hence the scientists confirm that there is a direct relation between fasting and the long life and good health. Fasting is the best way to clean the cells which delays aging.

There are other special features in Ramadan.
The Last Ten Nights
1. “Indeed we have revealed it (the Quran) in the Honored Night.
2. And what will explain to you what the Honored Night is?
3. The Honored Night is better than a thousand months.
4. In it, the angels descend as well as the Spirit (Gabriel) by the permission of their Lord, with all types of decrees.
5. ‘Peace’ it is until the rising of dawn. ” (Quran:97:1-5)

It was Ramadan in which the Quran was revealed from the heavens to the Earth. More specifically, it was one of the last ten nights of this blessed month. The Prophet said:
“Seek the Honored Night in the last ten. ” (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)
On that night, worship and good deeds are better than performing them for a thousand months, as mentioned in the verses above. Thus the Prophet would increase his worship by staying awake the whole night in worship.

“When he entered the [last] ten [nights] of Ramadan, the Prophet would ‘rollup his sleeves’ and give life to the whole night, and waken his family. ” (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)
Muslims in Ramadan seek this Honored Night in order that they may be given an increase in reward. Muslims spend the whole night in worship, from praying the taraweeh prayer to reading the Quran, supplicating to God, and praying extra voluntary prayers. During these nights, there is even an extra

congregational prayer held in the mosques which lasts for about an hour and a half to two hours up until the time of the predawn meal. Nights are alive with worship, and people for these ten nights expend all efforts in doing so, seeking that they may have spent the Honored Night in the worship of God. The Prophet said:
“Whoever stood in prayer in the Honored Night, believing in God and hoping for His reward, all his previous sins will be forgiven. ” (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)
Ramadan is a month of forgiveness, and people hope that they will people from those who are saved from the Fire:
“God chooses who will be saved from the Fire (in Ramadan), and that is every night. ” (Al-Tirmidhi)
For this reason in Ramadan, people fast, pray, and seek the Honored Night in order that they may be forgiven for their shortcomings and enter Paradise.
