Which style best describes your personal practice of yoga?
You can vote for more than one, but try not to.

But BG, in our countries, yoga teachers teach "Hatha Yoga" Its a mix of everything.. We don’t have Iyenger yoga classes and teachers here don’t use any straps or what ever equipment to help stretching., Its simply "Yoga" Some poses which we practice I see you guys have categorised under Ashtanga.
Bikram thing I understood only after I joined this forum and we do not consider that type as "Yoga" Its just bit different here.

Location: A Blue State | What's different is that you haven't got a lot of commercial interests defining
Yoga Brands, like Bikram, so that you are this type or that type. I think it's sort
of funny that in the USA a lot of yoga styles make a big fuss about their Indian
origins, whereas if you go to India these styles will be almost unknown (like
Bikram...you'll find knowledge of him mainly in Calcutta, I suppose)
By the way, do you have Iron John Yoga in Sri Lanka?

Pranayama has more prominence in our teaching..
One day Im going to be the first teacher to teach.. "hey students.. look there are so many things like this in the world " So you guys really help me....and the knowledge I get from here.. So I will be a different type of a teacher in SL one day (Euro-Asian- US Yoga teacher )

| Yah, BG definately lacks some skills in self-promoting. He didn't even mention IJY in his initial list, so I took the freedom to add it. |

Yeah, yeah, I'm not very good at selling things. But I hope you will all take up
the practice of Iron John Yoga...we've been thinking of letting women join the
classes, somehow, even though it's supposed to be a yoga for men to balance
the often female orientation of other yogas. Not quite sure how to handle this,
especially since male-only organizations often seem to end up facing legal actions
for the admission of women!
