| You came to the right place Allyson--Check the forums for yoga for beginners. Check up top under articles. That'll get you started. Then try some classes of different styles to se where you fit in. There are many styles of classes and teachers--to achieve your goals, you need to find one you like. Intro classes are cheap at most places. Post away with any further comment/questions and welcome to the boards and yoga. |

You will have to find what works for you Ally and the only way is by doing. Go to several different classes and see what fits best for you. Just whatever you do be consistent and be patient, changes will come.
Om Shanti,

| Ally: Go to a well established yoga school and learn with a teacher. Do NOT read any books, DVDs, etc. until you actually loose some weight after doing sufficient practice.
