Subject: Wow, I am not the only one

I was a serious Bikram Practioner for while. Went to his training and it all changes. I stop learning. I ended up over doing it and hurting both of my knees. I had miniscus tears and the knees have never been the same. This was about 2 years ago. I started practicing Yoga again and go to a Forrest Yoga Class. I feel like I am gaining my strength and flexibity back from these classes. I decided to try a Bikram Class and found that the teachers contradict themselves. They tell you to go easy and then yell at you for modifying the pose. I do not get it. The teachers need to shut up and let us feel are way through the class. Do not tell me to push and back off at the same time. They do not have balance and I find that most Bikram teachers are right out of training. Most last about 2 years and then burn out. I have realized that if and when I do Bikram I need to listen only to myself. I shut the teachers out and do my thing.

Peace.
