| I am considering applying to SVYASA for a short course. I have been advised the Yoga Therapy Programme or the IYC.
I would be grateful if anyone could give some information on:
- Asana classes - Is it hatha yoga? And how about teaching style and teachers?
- The proposed IYC programme looks quite intensive, how did you find it?
- Is the programme easy to follow by a beginner?
- Theoretical Lectures - What was your experience?
I am aware there are power cuts, that is not a problem for me.
I am also aware an ashram is not a hotel, but how about accommodation and laundry - Is it clean, are there good bathroom facilities? Are there facilities for washing your clothes?
What about the food, is is all included in the course fee? Any problems with stomach bugs?
