| Any ideas on how I can reach out to high schoolers about yoga? I am starting to teach and after school program and I don't have much experience with this age group. thanks | |

| Keep the class active, don't stress too much about alignment, save the more spiritual aspects until after you have gained their trust and attention. Be prepared for and allow a certain amount of giggling and chatter, especially if it is all girls. DO ask about their physical problems and injuries. Many of the teens I have taught have had some challenging injuries to deal with and they don't always tell you up front. Have fun! | |

| i agree with tourist. also, i found music to be valuable. things like "buddha lounge" were really good for this age group. (buddha lounge is a compilation album that has a "house" feel to them). | |
