Hello

I'm 41 and been practicing Bikram a couple times a week for the past 6 months or so. I work in a woodshop and drive a cab. Like most guys my age, I have tight hips and hamstrings
Last week while doing standing head to knee, I :
locked my right knee, rounded over to grab under my left foot, and before kicking out (actually, I wasn't planning on kicking. I still am not that flexible and just wanted to take it easy that day and concentrate on balancing on that locked leg)
I just straightened my back out and "POP!" I felt and heard my left hip.
I sat down and had a rush of dizzyness.
Now I realize what I should and shouldn't have done, but what happened?
I've been resting it, heat, ice, ibuprophen, etc... but my hip and lower lumbar still hurt. What's my corse of action now? Practice lightly, stay off it, cut my leg off?

Any advice would help, thanks
my new mantra, "no pain, no pain"
