The life today is very difficult and hectic. Not only the elderly but also students have a very hectic schedule these days. We tend to be busy with our work, family and friends. We are always surrounded with gadgets, technology, problems, solutions, work load, targets, deadlines, etc. the list is too long and is very difficult to sum up. Our life is filled with personal and professional commitments and tensions. We need to get over it so that we stay healthy and our mind stays stress free. People come up with different ideas of their own. Some would party at a disc, some would go shopping, movies, etc. The main aim is just getting out of that busy routine. However, there is way to get rid of this stress and also heal the harm stress causes on your mind and body. This is ‘MEDITATION’. Thus, the concept of meditation retreat and yoga retreat is very famous these days.
Meditation retreats is spending some time calmly with your eyes closed and chanting mantras like ‘Om’. It is the process of connecting to your inner self and the divine creator. After a long day of hectic professional and personal challenges, you need some time for yourself. You need to relax your mind, body and soul. You need to concentrate on your inner self so that you get to hear the voice of your conscience.
