But seriously, that was just weird for a guru to come online and say that to a student. Why not send a private message or something? Whatever....sigh..

I find the request given by Yogacharyatonmoy to his student is made from a loving heart, a clear mind, and with a sincere spirit. According to Vibes no principle principle, no action is either right or wrong, any action is ok, so nothing is considered weird, and WTFs are good too! Vibes - did I get your teaching correctly? Namaste

But seriously, that was just weird for a guru to come online and say that to a student. Why not send a private message or something? Whatever....sigh.. I am really sorry. But I tell you that I’m not a “GURU,” I don’t think so. I am only a simple Yoga Teacher. You are intelligent enough and understood that many things still I don’t know. I hope you also understand and forgive my ignorance, how to appear on line to interact with a student. You are so angry and unhappy with my comment that you wrote twice; however I want to apologize only to make you happy. God bless you……………

Expert Yogi Posts: 5098 Location: Somewhere in the Mountains of Western NC | Yogacharya Tonmoy, I am neither angry or upset...believe me. I just found it strange and weird. If you really wanted your student to not participate, you should do that in private, rather than throwing your authority around as if you were someone above us all. Now you say you are a nobody, but your post led us to think something differently. Go back and check what you wrote to the entire world. This is something that for etiquette purposes and the embarrassment of your student that should of been handled PRIVATELY. Anyway, all is well.....OM SHANTI SHANTI SHANTHI Edited by Cyndi 2010-02-07 11:24 AM

Member Posts: 7 | The Walking Meditation. Monks in monasteries used to do this, and still do--walk the quadrangle. You can do it too. Find yourself a set path, a circular track or a square, perhaps on a sports field, or in a large garden. Walk the path to get to know the route. Then, when you are ready, take in a slow deep breath, then let it out slowly. Be conscious of your body. Feel or sense your entire body. Then start walking slowly. While you walk mentally notice how your body is functioning. Do not judge or criticize it, just be aware of your body. Do not rush this or any other meditation. If a thought comes into your head which says: “This is silly,” or “I have to get the dog to the vet,” push them gently away, and resume your walking. After 10 or 15 minutes, stop, and get on with your life.
