well, not to meet my mom, Bay Guy... and my husband would probably be a bit nonplussed by BK's presence...BTW, Thush or Jean - whoever is between michigan and chicago, bryan kest is in Goodrich mid may and in Chicago a month later. His brother, Jonny Kest has a yoga studio somewhere in Michigan, too. I'm hoping to take his class at the next convention...

I'm the one in Michigan . . . unfortunately booked solid for the weekends BK will be nearby.

Jonny Kest has a studio in Southfield, but I had a terrible experience there and hated it. He was not teaching, so I don't know whether he's any good or not. Bad vibes at his studio, though.

A request from a new yoga student:
I would love it and pay for a 2 day or 4 day retreat near by that would help me (a new student) centre my practice, help me develope my asanas, breath work, and maybe throw in some rice and veggies. I would camp out on their lawn if I could! I don't need a fancy place just an honest immersion.
I would see this as a retreat. Away from my daily routine of work and too full schedule. I don't have the time or $$$ to go to Costa Rica but I do want to immerse myself.

I am sure that others out there crave the same.
Any thoughts?

Marie - there should be lots of good workshops and retreats for you in the Pacific Northwest. Felicity Green is on Lopez Island and does retreats there.
