| Yahoo's got a pic of a guy doing one of the Asanas in the Ashtanga Primary series. Not really sure why this is impressive, one of the local yogis can do it too.

| good looking fellow.
When i do a hip focus, i toss this pose in too. as well as where you do the legs thus and then stand on your hands (arm balance). those are great. but, it takes a good while to prep for the posture. |

| This link goes to a photo of a flock of birds now. If you've got a local yogi who can fly like that, dude, I'm impressed. |

| Next photo in. It's a black guy in some sort of black loin cloth in some asana which puts your feet behind your head. (Sorry, don't know the Sanskrit name). |

Yeah, I saw that at lunchtime. It's Dwipada Sirsasana, and it's from
Ashtanga Intermediate (or Second) Series. I wondered about that
too, but if you aren't a yogi, you might just see it as a cool photograph.

| C'mon now, guys, don't you see this is actually two people! Look where the @$$ of the the one guy is, he's probably doing a headstand. The other one is just leaning in betwen his legs. And see the silly clothes? This is obviously a scene from a ballett, modern dance, a circus act or something like that.

| the article that goes with it says that it's a contortionist with a performing arts group. i noted the rotation as well, but even if it is a 'fake' (meaning two people), the posture still exists and still can be done.
not everyone will get there, not everyone wants to. But, with consistant practice, it is possible. i find supta yoginasana to be easier to get into than this particular pose. if i'm going to do something similar on a regular basis, it's usually supta yoginasana. but, sometimes it's fun to jump up and do the arm balance and stuff. |

| AY might be right, it's not possible to see the floor in the photo, which makes it more likely that this is two people. If it is I hope they're very friendly, since that's not a place I'd like to have somebody, particular another man. |
