| I just started practicing Yoga last year. I could not believe that I could even perform the positions. Someone said it's easier when you're thin. For some, that's probably true, but I'm a heavy person, and I could not believe how well my body responded. My teacher is heavy too. After class, I feel great and ready to take on the world.
I started practicing Yoga as a way to relieve stress. I also created a web site focused on stress relief called http://www.tranquilityisyours.com. I put a couple of things that I think are important for people in terms of Yoga, and that's a link to some great posters of Yoga positions, and a link for people to find groups in their local area practicing Yoga called "MeetUp." Yoga's really taking off, but it's not always easy to find groups locally.
If you need postsers or a local group, visit the site and click the "MeetUp" icon in the lower left hand corner on every page. You may be surprised at who's practicing Yoga right near you.
