Would Thai massage be helpful
as a begining yoga student? If so, why?
I feel sore a lot.
I am working on my shoulders specifically
and just attended a shoulder girdle workshop
at my studo.
I am also working towards my 200-hour
certification.
There is so much to learn...

Thai massage would absolutely be helpful. It'll help loosen muscles, tendons, ligements, joints--and go it gently. However, I'm normally sore all the time following a particularly enthusiastic practice. While I get a little tired of hearing the phrase "deepen" as it applies to yoga asana practice, fact is, we do--thus the opportunity form soreness has continual openings to manifest itself.

You know Bruce, that's what I was thinking.
As a new student I am always learning to use new muscles
or using old ones in new ways.
Thus, I am always sore.
Certainly it must stop at some point!
