Subject: Adventure races and yoga...

Hey there. I'm competing in my first adventure race soon. I've heard yoga is very good for gaining flexability and strength. I'm wondering if there are specific yoga exercises that might benefit my training. check out my race, and I would appreciate any suggestions. It's sponsored by balance bar, balancebaradventure.com.

Just keep training with your current yoga program. Yoga builds both strength and flexibility. as far as for getting limber for your race, every person is different. some get cramps if they over stretch, while others take more time. listen to your body. I know of the event you're talking about. have a great time. this may be a bit late for you, but my brother is in that race and he said you can get the late fee waived by typing XXLATE in front of your team name. he was trying to get me into the event, but i will be on the west coast in may. i wish you the best.
