Dear Sally,

As you have only been practicing yoga for 1 year, I would consider you still a beginner. I started teaching yoga after practicing for 10 years. Most teacher training programs have a minimum of one year of practice to enroll.

You should continue your practice and read and learn as much as you can. Look into yoga teacher training programs in your area and maybe schedule a time to talk with your teacher about your ambitions and ask for more feedback and direction from him/her.

Namaste,
Timothy.
