Subject: New Class

Yesterday I signed up for a 60 day unlimited pass for a new "non-Bikram" studio in town. They are running a 60-day unlimited class pass for $89. What a deal!

Anyway, it's called Sanga Yoga and I did what they call a Slow Flow class. It was fun They played music through the duration of the class and at the end, during Sivasana, the teacher played a guitar & chanted.

There was a little more "philosophy" than I'm used to (and occasionally, it got a little annoying) but there was just as much "dialogue" as you get with Bikram. Hard to get away from when you're teaching people who are relatively new. I liked doing some different asanas for a change. .

The best part about the class -- I walked in with some back pain and walked out with less pain. (Generally, I'm hobbling out of my Bikram class.) Very exciting! Using the Anusara principles I had learned last year helped, I think. Maybe if I combine this yoga with the rolfing & PT I'm scheduled for, my back with be healthy soon!

Just thought I'd share
