| Hello namaste to everyone, I have been doing yoga at least three times per week for the past month and a half and have been always curious about bikram yoga. I live right down the street from his main studio on la cienega. I have hard many horror stories about bikram yoga though, but I am up for new challenges, i was hoping for an experienced bikram user to shed some light on the bikram experience. Thank you. |

It sounds like you're still new to Yoga in general. Or have you just been more active recently? Anyway, Bikrams could be called more intense than other forms. I think that's one of the reasons where some of the horror stories come from. It's 90 minutes long in a 100 degree room, the postures are always the same and there's certain etiquette that asks you to conform. That works for some people and for others, not. |
