What does the cyan pepper do for you?
It irritates the inner lining of the alimentary canal, called as mucus membrane. Therefore, the canal secretes more fluid and also creates excessive peristaltic motion. This gives a false appearance of cleansing at the cost of health. If slightly overdone, it can damage the alimentary canal in the weakest spot thus leading to a disease which is named after that spot. For example: colitis in the colon, etc.

| Willi, I believe the author of the "Master Cleanse" makes the distinction of using "Grade B" maple syrup as opposed to regular or grade A syrup. The distillation process for "A" removes most of the vitamins/minerals he deems important to staying well while cleansing. |

Have you used cayenne and had trouble from it?
Any person, whoever it is: a) first time when they use Cayenne Pepper in sufficient quantity shall have trouble with it. To verify this: Give a small quanity to a newly born child, and a slightly more quantity to a young adult, and then sufficiently large quantity to an adult. b) after using it for a while, that same person shall need more quantity to have the same trouble. c) and after sufficient time, the person of category b) shall have trouble when they give up the Cayenne Pepper. d) The one whose system is completely screwed up (aquired immuno deficiency to Cayenne Pepper) shall show no problems outwardly, but they shall be disadvantaged anyway. |

| I just read a great article on the Master Cleanse that made me feel a lot better. I wasn't sure if I should try it, and now I know it's not for me. It's good to get a shot of reality once in a while! I'm passing it on for your interest: http://www.modernmenus.com/Articles.aspx?article=24. "Learning to Spot a Lemon" from www.modernmenus.com. |

| "Naked" is very high in sugar/carbs. I was looking at it today. Those with blood sugar problems should not be drinking that stuff. Esp without the fiber that is contained in the whole fruit it comes from. |

Most of us don't have problems with it. I still prefer Naked over the Odwalla. Sorry BB, I tried it and it is not the same. It's definitely a each to his own taste buds kinda thing.
One thing about these fruit blends is that I like to drink them especially when I'm doing yoga and/or not eating and/or small fastings. They are great for replenishing your energy levels and for if you are traveling and don't have access to good wholesome food. Just pop them in the cooler and go. I could live on these for several days...easily. |

| I would be a mess on them, too much concentrated sugar for me. i wish I could drink them, I am sure they are delicious. I mix my whole fruit with low fat almond milk, bran, handful of raw spinach and my supplements. |

Location: Somewhere in the Mountains of Western NC | Yea, I too mostly eat fresh fruits and vegetables. But, when I'm on the road travelling, these fruit blends are great. I despise most restaurants. Thank God Whole Foods and Earthfares are in most major cities or something of the equivalent. Like I said, on fasting and less eating days, even better. |

| Ever since I've gone on a raw/living foods diet I can no longer enjoy Naked or Odwalla juices. The reaon being that they've been pasteurized...they may use the term 'flash pasteurized', but this basically means killing all the cells a bit more faster. I'd recommend drinking only juice you've made yourself or at a juice bar and getting some goji berries to keep you going!

| I never thought of that-keeping the juice "live" I know when you juice youself they say drink immediately or all benefit is lost. |
