why are bikram rooms so humid (like 60%)
i thought dry air was good to cool us off. High humidity means the sweat won't evaporate because the air molecules are full of water already and can't take them from our body.

Peter - I hear that the rooms have become hotter and more humid over the years. For those who thrive on heat, they love it. Many (many!) others have moved to non-Bikram hot yoga, some like Cyndi practice at home where the temp etc. can be controlled and quite a large number have moved to other yoga styles. I mention this so you know there are many yoga options out there if you find you want or need a change.
