Subject: sore hips?

I just started taking Bikram (about 6 classes so far) and
am loving it. Since my last two classes I've noticed that my
hips are pretty sore. I know I have a lot of "unstiffening" to do,
so I'm taking this as a sign that my hips are starting to loosen up.
(I notice this in particular during the Wind Removing Pose--
a real toughie for stiff-hipped me. I can barely grab my wrists
during the two-leg part.)

Basically: Is it normal to have sore hips when you're new
at this? The pain isn't horrible, just noticeable.

Just a reply to my own post: Several classes later and the hips
have never felt better. I guess my body was just working out
some kinks.

Now if only my hamstrings would loosen up

Its Normal.....I especially notice it as I sit alot during the day at work and then try to get up and move. I can be quite stiff at first but once I get moving around its not so bad.
