In bikram yoga pose 3. Utkatasana I felt really good so I went all the way down. I felt a little pop in my right knee at the bottom. it doesn't really hurt (well maybe a little) but what are the signs of injury?

Signs of injury are little popping sounds and pain...seriously. You are going too deep too fast Peter. You found that initial limit now back off.

that was just plain mean....btw, my knees have been making popping sounds since 16 and 17. It's genetics in my case. My knees like to pop when I exercise. They seemed to stop popping once I added weight training and more exercise, but the yoga puts them into new positions.

That wasn't being mean. My knees pop every time in Dhanurasana - both of them, in fact, if they don't I think I didn't do the posture correctly. I just don't have the pain because I don't push myself over my *popping* limit, there is a place where you can go to far with this. Besides, I'm probably older than you are...old age doesn't frighten me, I KNOW my body has aged and that is the main reason I do Yoga...because I do believe yoga reverses the aging process. But hey, I'm still a popping and a crackin' along the way,

Cheers
