Subject: Class lesson plans?

Does anyone know of any sites on which there are lesson plans available, or where teachers can swap plans? It's nice to have new input sometimes! Thanks everyone.

i don't make lesson plans, so i don't look for them. but i know that erich schiffman's board has an active sequence exchange, which i'm sure you could use in classes. his web site is movingintostillness.com.

I used to write out everything I was going to say, word for word! Then I settled down a bit and just wrote out the asana sequence. Now I just sort of get a loose plan in my head and work from there.

I have seen some books that offer different sequence ideas, in fact most of the ones I've gotten lately seem to have to have some sort of appendix like that in the back. 30 Essential Yoga Poses and Yoga Abs both have ideas (both are by Judith Lasater). The big BKS Iyengar "YOGA" book has lots of sequencing in the back.

Thanks folks- as a new teacher, I feel a little more secure with that piece of paper to refer to. I'm sure I'll get over it, just as I did with other things I've taught!

Om Zoe,

I feel so foolish for not going to Erich's site sooner............ My very first teacher told me to get the book but for some reason....me being me forgot about it.
Well I went to his site and did an immediate duh...( in my best Homer's voice) I then went to Amazon and bought the book for 6 buckaroos. Silly rabbit.

Om Shanti,
Ravi
