Subject: A question about potential injuries in the full lotus

I have a question about injuries in the yoga full lotus position.

I tried it today but i did not manage to get my knees to touch the ground. I did not feel very much pain and the pain was very minor. I only felt pain when getting out of the position. I felt minor pain in my ankles. I did not push myself beyond my limit and i tried the position 4 times and stopped at my limit.

I managed to get to the position but i was unable to touch the ground with my knees

Will i get an injury or do i need to attempt many times to get an injury. Right now i feel almost no pain at all. The only pain i feel is a slight pain in my upper calf and other than that there is no pain.

will my age (16) make any difference
