Weight gain during pregnancy varies from one woman to another. The reason is that accurate weight gain is determined on the factor of original body mass index of the pregnant women. How much weight should you gain during pregnancy? On average from 25 to 35 pounds is the optimal weight gain that must be gained at the end of the pregnancy. In case of obese and underweight pregnant women the range will be different.
