Half-Life 3 has been one of the most demanded titles in the Runescape games industry for some time now. The second game in the series ended in a cliffhanger, which led us to believe that the series would have most definitely seen a third entry. That was back in 2007, and we're now well into 2015, with little to no hope of a franchise revival.However, company HTC recently revealed its 'Vive' virtual reality headset that will compete directly with Sony's Morpheus and Facebook's Oculus Rift. While Facebook's project is the one receiving most of the media attention, the Vive will hopefully give them a run for its money.HTC's chairwoman recently made the statement that they were co-operating with Half-life. We're not sure exactly what this means, but it alludes to something of note. We hate to stir the rumor pot, but the statement made by HTC does have some lofty implications, the biggest being the development of Half-Life 3. Bear in mind, however, that this could Buy RS Gold also mean Valve is crafting HD remakes of the original Runescape games; it could also mean nothing.Gone Home Cancelled for Consoles, Fullbright Focusing on Tacoma. The console versions of Gone Home are no longer in development, developer Fullbright has told DualShockers.Studio co-founder Steve Gaynor commented Gone Home for console is not actively in development any longer, he added that Fullbright's partnership with Majesco's indie publisher label Midnight City has sadly come to an end.Gone Home was due for release on console last year, however, Majesco warned investors of substantial doubt regarding its continued viability after heavy losses.the Runescape game launched on PC in 2013 and is also available for Mac and Linux. Epic Runescape games has announced today that its powerful Unreal Engine 4 is now available to everyone for free, including future updates.They've informed us to say that anyone can download the engine to use it for everything from game development, education, architecture, and visualization to VR, film, and animation. The only caveat is that if you use Unreal Engine 4, when shipping a game or app, you'll ahve to pay a 5% royalty on gross revenue after the first $3,000 per product, per quarter.Epic succeeds only when creators succeed, Epic said in a statement. |
