Desulfurization principle: limestone or lime is used as desulfurization absorbent. Limestone is crushed and ground into powder and mixed with water to form absorption slurry. When lime is used as absorbent, lime powder is digested and added with water to make absorbent slurry. When the absorption liquid is atomized and sprayed into flue gas through nozzle, the absorption liquid is dispersed into small droplets and covers the entire section of the absorption tower. These droplets are absorbed by SO2 when they are in countercurrent contact with flue gas. In this way, SO2 is absorbed in the absorption area, and the oxidation and neutralization reaction of the absorbent is completed in the liquid storage area at the bottom of the absorption tower to form gypsum.
