I know Patrick Broome has opened a Jiva Mukti studio, but that might be in Munich.

The site every dedicated Ashtangi should be aware of is http://www.AshtangaYoga.com. Anything worth knowing about Ashtanga around the world is there.

If you're that desparate, throw down your mat and just practice. If you haven't memorized the series, get David Swensen's "Ashtanga Yoga" book. It's spiral-bound, will lay flat, and has the 1st and 2nd series in it -- with modifications. Remember: the point of Ashtanga is to be able to practice in silence, as meditation in motion. That's why the teachers work to make themselves unnecessary. Teachers, after a certain level, are a distraction.

Hi everyone,

have a look at http://www.balanceyoga.de . Balance The Yoga Institute is a brandnew Yoga Studio
located in the heart of downtown Frankfurt (Eschersheimer Landstrasse 5-7).
They offer instruction in Yoga, Power Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Hot Yoga and Pilates.

This studio is the best thing that happened to me, check it out (they offer trial classes, 10-class-tickets and monthly memberships) !

Cheers,
Marko

yes-whoa- I actually do - a great one. Not sure if he's in frankfurt, pretty sure he teaches in germany? May have been austria as well.... Unfortunately he was working as an assistant to Nancy Gilgoff when I studies with her, and I completely forgot his name. But if you were seriously interested, I'd go to Nancys website....www.ashtangamaui.com ..... and write her an email/give her a call inquiring about who her german assistant was in bristol VT last fall.

good luck
