Both sintered mesh and sintered felt are new filter materials made of stainless steel, featuring corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, and stable filtration accuracy. Both are widely used in nuclear industry, petrochemical, aerospace, food and medicine, metallurgical machinery, power electronics and other fields.

From the material point of view:

The sintered mesh is made of multiple stainless steel woven meshes of the same or different types stacked together, after repeated pressurization, rolling and repeated vacuum sintering at 1260 °C and then diffusion and solid solution. It has strong mechanical properties. strength and overall rigidity;

The stainless steel sintered felt is made of fine metal fibers of different wire diameters through non-woven laying, overlapping configuration and high temperature vacuum sintering at 1180°C.

From the sintering process:

The sintering process of the sintered mesh is to sinter several layers of stainless steel metal woven meshes with different structures on top of each other. The structure of the sintered felt is ordered. The sintered mesh is a non-woven fabric, which is sintered by placing the metal fibers together in a disorderly manner.

It can be seen from this that the sintered mesh has a larger filtering range, while the sintered felt has a relatively high dirt holding capacity.

Therefore, you can choose the sintered filter material that suits your needs according to your actual situation and needs.
