Hi Claire,

It is best to discuss with your health care provider the type of a fitness program and the level of intensity that is safe for you to do during pregnancy. And if the practice of yoga is supported, you could consider a number of options such as classes, videos and instruction especially designed for women who are pregnant.

Yoga has much to offer whether it be for the mind, spirit or body. Practicing yoga can create and restore balance. It will give you tone as you shape up your muscles.

If you are thinking of exercising at home, we offer yoga videos for this special time you are entering. They are "Pre- and Post Natal Yoga", by Monterey Home Video, "Yoga Journal`s Prenatal Yoga", with Shiva Rea, and "Postures For Pregnancy", A Yoga Zone video with Alan Finger.

We also have the following books -
"The Complete Book of Yoga and Meditation for Pregnancy", by Theresa Jamieson and "Yoga for Pregnancy", by Françoise B. Freedman and Doriel Hall.They are listed under
Miscellaneous Yoga Videos on the order page. There is "Baby and Mom Post- Natal Yoga", with Gurmukh Khalsa;
and "Pre- and Post Natal Yoga", with Jennie Arndt.

Good luck!
