I have a question for my mother. She had gone through a hysterectomy about a 1 1/2 ago and is having terrible time with flashes; anxiety; frustration; easily bothered; the list goes on. Any suggestions with yoga/meditation that might make it easier or lessen her symptoms. Thank you. nicole

Hi Nicole-

Some gentle or restorative yoga might help alleviate your mother's symptoms. The Women's Book of Yoga and Health, available at Yoga.com, may be a useful resource, as it has specific yoga sequences designed for different points in women's lives. You may also be interested in Yoga, A Gem for Women, by Geeta Iyengar (also at Yoga.com) as it details the curative and restorative powers of various postures for women. Best of luck!

Namaste,

Jess
