Subject: Thinking Of Trying Yoga

I've heard about yoga being a great stress reliever and a super relaxation tool. I'm not sure how to get started or if it's right for me. I'm a male, age 34 and trying to get myself in good shape since being diagnosed with diabetes. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to start and where to go for resources. You can email me if you wish.

I was facing the problem of where and how to start. I will suggest you a book by BKS Iyengar titled 'Light on Yoga'. It is mentioned that one can practice yoga without a teacher. But for Pranayama, an advanced stage of yoga ,you will require a techer. I am following it and found useful. Search for this book.
