I there! I live in West LA, husband is currently unemployed, work 50+ hours a week and love yoga. I have done yoga in my home for about 6 months+/- and finally got to go to a studio last week and absoluteley loved it. The problem is I can't afford 13-15 dollars per class, the class I went to I choose b/c it was donation (I was going to pay 8.00) but when i walked in they open a big box and watch you and press a suggested 13.00 donation. I enjoyed the class and like i said, i just need to find a place that won't break the bank. Anyone have any suggestions? thanks for your suggestions.

There is a yoga studio in Santa Monica at 1640 Ocean Park Blvd. (I live in west LA and its close to me) Its called Santa Monica Yoga. They have "community classes" at specific times that are $7 ea. Only problem, during the week, if you work 50+ hours you may not be able to make it to the times when these classe are offered. But the times are :
Sat/Sun 2:15-3:45
Mon -Fri 12:30-2:00 and 3:30-4:45
you can visit their website at www.santamonicayoga.com

Some studios also allow students to trade work for a free membership. Always worth asking about!
