| Instructor mentioned she felt strong energy around my head and neck during my final relaxation. What does that mean? |
| It just means she sensed something, which may or may not be important. Don't worry too much about such things. It's a long road and lots of things will happen and lots of things will change. Just take it all in stride. "Yoga is evenness of mind" - Swami Sivananda. It's the long run that counts. |

Maybe she just felt the tension there coz you didn't relax completely |

You must ask the instructor to exactly tell you what she saw. If she can not, she is bluffing. But, it may be a sweet bluff.

| Not engendering cynicism at all, but I have to second Neel here. There is (unfortunately imho) quite a bit of new-agey unsubstantiated airy-fairyness around yoga and some of it's practitioners. I've also met teachers who sometimes say some ridiculous things to 'enhance' the experience of their students. Your teacher may very well have some incredibly strong sensory perceptions, but I'd be skeptical without frank conversation. When you experience a strong energy opening, you won't have to be told about it.
On the other hand, there is more that goes on in this world then I'm aware of. I bow to the infinite possibilities!
