Subject: Hatha during pregnancy

I am just barely a month preganat with my second child. I had natural labor last time- no drugs. I was so thankful for my Lamaze classes and I have heard that yoga can make the whole process so much more enjoyable...any one care to comment?

Sorry, I'm not a woman and also not an expert but I know that yoga can be very helpful through your pregnancy and delivery. Pregnant and menstruating women must avoid the inverted asanas but apart from that it will strenghten your muscles and your back, so carrying the extra weight will be easier for you. Also it'll give your hips more flexibility which is critical during the birth (so I've heard). And I'm quite sure there are much more advantages of yoga, especially for your breathing and your state of mind.
Shanti
