Subject: ANUSARA WEBSITE

Is anyone else having trouble accessing the Anusara website? For some reason, when I try to go to anusara.com or movingintostillness.com, I get an error reading, saying the website no longer exists.

Thanks, Vero. So do we have any computer experts who can tell me why this might be happening? I still can't get it to come up. The error code says maybe I'm not spelling the site name correctly (I am), that the site has moved (it hasn't) or to try turning my computer off (I tried -- still can't access the website).

Actually, they sent out an email stating they were having server troubles and were in process of moving the site. So it's probably not you. Give it some time.

Dearheart, not getting into a web site is not a reason to replace anything.
I do hope you're being facitious!

Anyway, I can now get in - did you find the GR info?

Of course I'm kidding!

I did find the GR info, but the WS is mid-week, which would be hard for me to do. Mainly because I start my new business next week. However, I am very excited to say that I spoke with someone yesterday at Anusara, and I am confirmed for the Detroit WS. Yay!

That's EXCELLENT News!

I can't wait to hear what you think.

How is practice going?

Thanks for the positive energy, Vero. I'm really looking forward to being 100% in charge of my schedule again.

My practice is going great. Yesterday, we did backbends (which I love now that I'm not afraid of hurting my back) and handstands. We also did a shoulder stand, which for some reason freaked me out. I was afraid to go back too far onto the back of my neck. We had blankets under our upper back, and it felt like I was going to roll all the way back off the blanket. Head stands, hand stands, shoulder stands -- all brand new to me. I did well with the hand stands -- it was like doing downward facing dog backward against the wall. After the third one, I was pretty tired, though. They're not as easy as they were when I was a kid!

I talked to Chris about the drawing in of the abdomen during backbends that I had mentioned before. He said when you draw the tailbone down, it's normal for the lower abdomen to draw in (bandhas?) as long as the upper abdomen remains relaxed. I think I probably explained that wrong in earlier posts.

This Anusara workshop will be my first workshop ever. The only other training I've had was the Bikram 9 weeks of ****. I'm hoping I'll enjoy this a little more
