hey everyone, my name is adam.. and i'm from columbus, ohio. for the past few years i've been dating a girl who was into yoga for the spiritual aspect as well as the physical advantages. and recently i've taken an interest in yoga - i won't lie i really don't know where to start i just want to learn as much as i can and just do it. so if anyone has any suggestions on books/videos or started poses i can do let me know. and any other advice you can offer would be awesome.

thanks so much

-adam

Sounds like your girlfriend is very much into yoga, so why don't you just ask her to introduce you into the practice, or join her studio?
Oh, shucks, just re-read your post, okay, maybe you better not ask her, right?
Okay, how to get started? Don't buy books, videos, dvds and stuff, but just try out different studios in your area. Ask for beginners courses in Iyangar or Anusara style and please stay away from Bikram studios

Yep They can practice Partner Yoga............ Quite interesting ha :-)

""partner yoga provides the perfect entry point for men to discover the amazing benefits of hatha (physical posture) yoga, not only for their health, but for the vitality of their relationship. And it’s really fun!"""
