Didn't mean to upset you, Kristi. I'm just a know-it-all today.

Thats ok, I have those days too and who knows, perhaps you do know it all!

Work can be yoga, though.

Karma yoga... the yoga of action.

Hey Kabu...been there, done that. My Dad was an OB/GYN who was always on call and really absent as a parent in my case. My mother was mentally absent as well. I love my Dad and got used to the fact that work and his patients came first in my case. I am a Dental Hygienist and when I first began practicing, I stayed late at the office etc. and hygiene was everything. I think healthcare workers are type A's by nature and give their all to their profession. I give my all at work now and now I give back to myself through yoga.

It helps in so many ways as you are finding out. I hope your husband will smell the roses one day and not the coffee like so many of us do! One day, like my Dad, he will see the light and give up a part of work and give back to himself and to you. My Dad gave up OB and just practiced GYN. He had to retire due to severe carpal tunnel and pain even after micro surgery..is it worth that? Nah!

Namaste2 Cheryl Thanks for letting me vent!
