| Tonight's yoga class was another great experience. Although I sucked badly (hangover's not good for balances ... and strenght ... and alignment), the class was nice but the best thing happened afterwards. Class was held by a substitute teacher and it was her first time with this class. She did quite well, actually better than the usual teacher imho. So after class I went to thank her, as I feel this is neccesary from time to time, much nicer than the mumbled "thankyo" from the class. And guess what? She not only blushed but pointed out that she noticed that I must be practicing yoga for quite some time because I did so well.
Maybe she was just trying to be nice or it was natural bonding since we're the only Europeans there (she being from Belgium) but this was really the first time that someone positively regarded to my yoga practice and said so. Just some small words but imagine how I feel now?
Yeah, that's right, triple cool!!!
Yah, I know I know, yoga is not at all about stuff like that ... but nevertheless ...

| Atta boy Stefan! Kudos for giving her thanks and right back upon you for receiving praise--hey, a guy's gotta have his ego stroked on occasion. |

| That's great Stefan! It is fun for a teacher to have a student do well and encouraging to see someone who cares about yoga. Hope she comes back for a few more classes |

Seriously now, that *is* great. Though it's not about ego, I'd be thrilled to get such a good pat on the back! Way to go!! |

| Keith: She's a very attractive female but no, we didn't do it, me being happily married and stuff and she probably not the slightest little bit interested to get laid by a stubby guy twice her age.
Glenda: Funny thing is, as I wrote, I didn't even do particularly well tonight. But at least I tried and gave my pathetic best. I put in all the enthusiasm of a 15 years old labrador.
Lori: Sorry, but Bruce was - as so often - right on the money. Let's not forget we're talking about a boy here, all grown-up but a boy nevertheless, so the ego is always an issue. Feels good to have it stroked sometimes.
