| I just wanted to introduce myself. I am so grateful for finding this site. I look forward to chatting with all of you. I started taking yoga about a year ago, but it was hard to find a location that I go consistly. Just recently a studio opened that I can go to on my lunch break from work.
For years I have suffered from anxiety--feeling like I was jumping out of my skin. I turned to unhealthy addictions for some relief. Realizing they were getting me nowhere-I killed some of the addictions (I still love sugar) and turned to yoga. It has changed my life. And not only mine. Everyone I come in contact with benefits--especially my husband and two young boys.
My anxiety is under control--I live life fully and laugh often.
I look forward to having a place to come to enjoy the company of people who love yoga as much as I do.
Thanks! |

| Hi Kim and welcome. Tell us more about your yoga - do you practice a particular style or are you still searching for that special teacher to appear? Congrats on being able to control your anxiety with two small boys - they are by nature serious spreaders of anxiety! The good news is that they do (in most ways) grow up |

| I am still searchig. I am exploring the different styles, as well as several different teachers. I haven't settled on a particular style yet. I am enjoying this part of the journey. It is like being a kid in the candy store, so many choices and variations that it is hard to pick just one or two. I know that in due time I will know which I resonate with the most.
