Subject: What exactly is "power" yoga?

I normally take an ashtanga-based class, and I'm going to have to miss mine this thursday, so I will probably need to do a makeup at a power yoga class. What is the difference? Is power yoga normal yoga (hatha-based) or is it different? The teacher I would take it with also teaches Iyengar and several other types of yoga.
Thanks!
