Subject: new here

hello everyone. i was wondering if anyone can instruct me on where to look for either dvds or books to begin a yoga practice. i live in the city, but with my hectic work schedule i find it difficult to attend any of the classes i want. the only ones available are at like 7 am and when you get done with work at 3 or 4 am, it makes it kind of difficult. i am most interested in ashtanga/power yoga so any help would be most appreciated.

Hi Thomas, for example you could start right here on this very site. You know the good folks of yoga.com who are nice enough to host these forums happen to be in the yoga business. Incidently they have so many books, videos, DVDs, mats and other merchandise in stock, they might even consider selling some of that stuff to you - if you ask nicely.
