Hello Teachers,
Where can I find the presentation of a typical beginner's 1 hour 30 minutes class: which asanas, when, etc... Your help is greatly appreciated ! Thank you.

Dear Kulkarnn,

Thank you. Hum, I was hoping for a way - even on the Internet - to get a paper explanation/list of asanas that could be covered in a beginner's class that is 1:30 hour long, not really a DVD to follow at home. Do you know if such info can be found somewhere on the net or in a book ?

Cerise - what exactly are you looking for? Just a routine to do at home for yourself?

Tourist,
I am looking for a class routine to teach beginners (not first timers though, but people with a little bit of exposure to yoga). The class lasts 90 mns.

Cerise - I think there is some natural hesitance here because as far as I can recall from your posts, you are not a teacher or in a teacher training program, are you?

Dear Tourist,
I am following a training now and teaching with supervision in order to train. I prepared a class routine for beginners on my own and on the basis of what I have been taught and the classes I followed, I thought of getting ideas and modifiy what I had prepared, add something here and there to change the routine from time to time, and also to learn something new. But it is OK like this and I thank you for explaining me the basis for the "natural hesitance". Fair enough.

Aha - so what was your class plan? Maybe we could help if we looked at that and could suggest other ideas to go with or complement what you have started. What did your teacher think of your current plan?
