| Yeti - I don't know about research but one of the Sivananda swamis who writes for ascent magazine has written several articles about her own experience with Parkinsons's. The web page is at: http://www.ascentmagazine.com/. Some of the articles may be reprinted on the page but I am sure you can get back issues if they aren't. |

| I would do a search on Google. I'll bet a few hits come up.
I know MS patients work with Yoga. I've recently been wondering about Yoga therapy for Restless Leg Syndrome, and I know a few RLS patients have Parkinsons-like symptoms as well. Yoga is also currently being discussed on an Epilepsy message board.
If there isn't much info on this, then maybe it's time to start the ball rolling. Just the fact that patients themselves are kicking around the idea indicates some willing participants. |

| I know the American Parkinsons Association gives scholarships for Park. patients to study yoga and I know there are classes specifically for parkinsons in my area, but I don't know of any sites. |

| Dear Yeti99N:
Parkinson's disease is just a modality of Nervous System. Yoga Addresses the entire body, and especially nervous system if done correctly. So, there is no question that a proper Yoga Practice will help a) Healthy nervous system, b) unhealthy nervous system whetherr is with Parkinson or any other modality.
No research is needed in this field.
