I am a (nearly) certified yoga teacher, VERY interested in body work, i was wondering if anyone knows anywhere on the west coast that i could find a good (hopefully not TOO expensive) massage/yoga training location. Ideally in Portland (or thereabouts) or in southern calafornia.

Utah has a very highly recomended massage school that has been teaching massage for 20 + years. You can log onto www.ucmt.com. I am currently enrolled there and love it!

The best way to get trained for massages is to take a help of experienced person, who can teach you to do the massage in perfect way. You can also search for such professionals online on internet.
