I wish I could drop everything and pop across the 'pond' for this.

I would love to take this! I've been looking around for an anatomy class - esp a yoga anatomy class.. and $100? for 3 days' classes in NYC??? somehow that seems very reasonable!

it is very affordable.

I do have one question about it though--and hopefully someone will answer it!

DOes the class involve doing postures or is it just or mostly lecture? The reason that i ask is because i'm interested in taking the class with one of my TT apprentices. He's recently been accidently stabbed in the wrist, so he can't do many poses with the one arm (for instance, no downward dog, plank poses, etc). If it involves a practice that may involve these things, then he won't be able to attend. If it's mostly lecture, then he would be able to attend (for example, mostly lecture, with demonstrations of poses for people to observe, or he could do standing poses only or the like).

just curious.

This class will be half lecture/half asana. There will be simple asana sequences to reinforce what was learned that day. However, I will email Kriota with this special case and ask her if she feels it would be beneficial for your apprentice to attend with this injury. And post it here.

If anyone else has any questions please email me @ Carl@jivamuktiyoga.com or call the center 212-353-0214
I can reply to you faster from there.

Namaste

thanks! that will be a great help!

he's so bummed! he doesn't know yet if he'll need surgery or not--we'll find out next week. If so, it'll be a few months before he's 'back on track' if not, the doctors estimate a few weeks. obviously, we want to avoid surgery. but, we'll see! (fingers crossed!)
