figured this would be the right place to post my hello and introduce myself in the forums.

over the years, I go back to my practice and it always leads me to thoughtful self analysis

I've primarily practiced Hatha, have limited exposure to pranayama, and perform some of the bhandas, and nauli to feel "clean".

I'm hoping that these forums will be a good place to learn.

me-mid to late 30's, married, four kids, practicing for nearly 16 years

Finally, in this year, I feel like I'm finally starting to make some progress.

Welcome Steve

Maybe you can be helpful to some of our newer practitioners with some ideas of how you progressed through those years where there didn't seem to be much progress.
