| But not flexible. Who has "mix and match", ability to pick up something missed in next round, etc.? |

| I am interested in the requirements for such a course. Can anyone with little or no yoga experience go to one of these workshops and come out as a "qualified" yoga teacher? |

| Hmmmmm - no reply to several requests for info on the boards, no reply to PM's and no reply to the email I sent to them through their website.... I guess I won't be taking their teacher training this summer. |

You'd really turn your back all on all good Iyengar training for a cheap internet training company.... |

| Well, this is YogaWorks, right? The big chain that is taking over small studios and working on becoming the WalMart of yoga. Of course, they might object to that suggestion Maybe it will get a response from them.... Anyway, I would hope that they would answer inquiries from potential students or they will be running short of new teachers for their chain. Since I have had no reply, I will assume a) they don't want highly trained teachers of any kind coming in and asking nosey questions, b) they don't need my $2700 and c) they will take anyone in off the street and claim to train them in a few weeks. |

Wow! Why don't you just call them evil incarnate? |

| particularly with large chains, but even with smaller studios, sometimes, it takes more than three days (the 18th to th 21st) to get a response. we like to think of email as fast, but if one person is coordinating the training, then if that one person is out for a few days, you gotta wait. ;-) patience is a virtue, no? ;-) |

| Weeeeeelllll.....I do like to give people the benefit of the doubt but I did PM the original poster and that PM has been picked up sooooo.... I will keep checking the email but I am not hopeful. Evil incarnate? I guess the jury is still out on that, but I would expect a big corp (as I perceive it to be, right or wrong) to be able to email back a stock answer to a simple question pretty promptly. |
