September 15-17
Conference Fees (tuition only)
Post-marked or call by: By July 19 - $395
After July 19: $445

A weekend conference at the Sheraton New York Hotel in New York City, September 15-17, 2006 with pre- and post-conference intensives on Friday, September 15 and Monday, September 18

This year we are returning to the Sheraton New York Hotel in New York City with a world-class group of yoga teachers. It's exciting to see so many different styles of yoga represented by so many great instructors. And with classes geared for beginners to advanced students, there are many opportunities for you to take a first step or delve deeper into your practice.

On Friday and Monday, we are offering daylong intensives for those of you who want to spend a day practicing with one specific teacher. On Saturday and Sunday, there are dozens of classes each day in a variety of yoga styles and disciplines. In addition, there are lectures and meditation classes presented by numerous teachers. Everything you need to begin or continue your yoga practice is here under one roof.

New at this year's conference is a panel discussion with David Life, Sharon Gannon, Ingrid Newkirk, and Neal Barnard. The topic of this panel is the timely issue of ahimsa. This Sanskrit term, introduced to the West by Mahatma Gandhi, roughly translates as nonviolence to all living beings. This panel discussion will look at the concept of ahimsa and how it relates to the yogic lifestyle.
