Is there a area called Crestkill? Or something like that.
One of my students is going to jersey next weekend for work and I told him I would ask if there's any teachers nearby/
Any suggestions?

yogafinder.com, i think there's a listing on yoga.com too, and/or yogaalliance.org should have lists to find someone near or around. also, simply googling 'yoga in creskill, nj' might pop up a lot of things.

So funny that I just decided to add my location to my profile... Cresskill is about 30 minutes away from where I practice (only 13 miles, but it's all local traffic), though there are tons more studios even closer than that. Let me know if you want more specific info.

Please give me some names of studios. I will pass them onto my student. He is a male in mid-twenties and very focused.

In order of familiarity and recommendations:

Naturally Yoga

Shree Yoga (Anusara)

Stone Yoga (Structural)

Iyengar School of Northern New Jersey (Iyengar)

Yoga Montclair (Anusara)

Yoga Synthesis (Ashtanga)

Yoga Bums

Starseed

Hopefully your student will find something suitable. There are others, like Dahn and Bikram, but I didn't bother to look them up.

Hi Mish,

Did your student end up going to any of the studios I listed? Just curious.

I'm writing him right now. He told me he's going to be staying (this weekend coming up) in Orangeburg but working in Rockleigh, NJ. Trying to find some studios that offer early bird classes.
He attends my 6:00 a.m. class on friday mornings. Looking to see if he can pick up a class at that time.
No luck on my end finding a class nearby, that early.
